The
14th Annual Tour de Sewickley is a ride, not a race. In addition
to the ride, there is also an Inline Skating Loop. Registration
for all components of the ride will be held at the Sewickley
YMCA. The ride has something to offer every level of cyclist.
All riders will start and finish at the Sewickley
YMCA. parking lot, and free parking is available in the Blackburn
Road Lot of Sewickley Valley Hospital right across the street
from the YMCA.
Registration Begins at 6:00 A.M.
60 Mile Ride Departs at 7:00 A.M. & 8:00 A.M.
The ride starts
in Allegheny County and weaves its way through communities
in the north into Beaver County. This scenic and rural route
makes its way to Brush Creek Park before heading back to Sewickley.
Rest stops are available at the 15, 30 and 45 mile points.
30 Mile Ride Departs at 8:00 A.M. & 9:00 A.M.
This is a scenic
ride along the PA Red Belt, making its way through many communities
in the north before the rest stop in Thorn Hill Industrial
Park. Enjoy a quick snack, compliments of Mitsubishi Electric
Power Products Inc., and head back to Sewickley.
5 & 15 Mile In-Line Skating Loop-Group Start at 9:00 A.M.
Sewickley borough is taylor made for inline skating with
its flat, freshly paved, leafy tree-lined streets.
5 Mile Fun Ride-Group Start at 11:00 A.M.
The Fun
Ride offers a leisurely ride for the family or for the inexperienced
rider. Bike the streets of Sewickley, an elegant and charming
community in Allegheny County. |
