The Ohio Valley Center celebrated the beginning of summer with a carnival on June 23 and 24, 2005. The children enjoyed many activities that incorporated sensory and motor skill development including: a bean bag toss, face-painting, necklace beading, bowling, basketball tossing, and the Sponge Bob Squarepants wet sponge toss. The smell of cotton candy and the sounds of laughter filled the air at the Ohio Valley Center, as the children, teachers and many parents enjoyed the events. Each child took home a special memento of the day, including a bag of cotton candy, necklace and circus hat.
